bizarre law-enforcer

Holiday's at stake. I'm not ready to just let it go. A very wise Brazilian man said, "If you have a work instead a job, everyday is a holiday." He's a writer. Most of you also've known that I'd love to be a writer. Being a law college student is a job. Writing is a work.

I wouldn't mind studying law, it truly is fascinating. However, that word "studying" should literally be defined in a particular way of meaning. If studying law means you are to do ridiculous unrelated assignments, to be burdened with how they will score your legal knowledge and legal advice with their own subjective perspective, to waste hours of waiting for the lawyer-lecturers in a--later--empty class, it definitely is a blowing-job (in a negative manner, of course).

I've told you like thousand times about how disappointed I am, but no, I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to argue that there is supposed to be a little bit modification made to the (law) educational system here.

A couple of weeks ago my friend asked me if I could take some photos in a studio with her, of course that'd be great idea. Honestly, I had no idea how it would work. Had I never done one before.

Then I was reminded of editorials taken with blank backgrounds, of Terry Richardson's work, and such. I was thinking.... how about doing something neat, sharp, and a lil bit uptown this time? A little bit of gorgeous high-fashion point of few in a modest way.

So here we go. You know that I don't stick lux brandy stuff around my body. I am very accustomed with either unbranded or cheesy branded items. Well, I don't care about the brand of an item, unless the item's cool.

Notwithstanding the Asia's Pedro's shoes, Levi's belt, and Ralph Lauren shirt in the deepest layer, everything else does not posses any remarkable brand. Designers'? Blah, design my bank papers.

They cope well howsoever, the classic double-layer of blazer & vest, the straight pants, the tie, & the retroic watch. Agree or disagree, I would wanna prove people that we don't necessarily need well-paid designers to dress like a well-paid dude.

  6. Sartorially splendid; I applaud your taste.

I suspect law school, as so many others, is designed to test your endurance rather than knowledge...or even intelligence. May the most obdurate win!

  7. You look really professional! My sister studied law but I think it's interesting how all countries have a different way of teaching Law. Either way, at the end of it, if things work out, then you'll be in for a successful job with good money! Good luck.

    1. You can call me what you want Ade (: What kind of writer is really a difficult question to answer since I usually don't put label on stories. Yet in case it might provide a hint, my inspirations have always been Tolkien, Coelho, & Robert Harris.
